Erin and I headed to San Francisco last weekend for an Esthetics Conference. We spent alot of time shopping and not as much time at the conference, but we still got alot out of it. We felt it was better than the conference in Vegas last year. This picture is of one of our adventures.....The Detox! We sat in these foot baths and our toxins were pulled from our bodies. I would have believed it worked except for the fact that they told Erin she was unhealthy and that I was very healthy, which if any of you know us, that is pretty much the exact opposite. Oh, well it was fun to try anyway! Ask us about it sometime! We had a great time and had many funny adventures. Erin "relived" many of her Paris moments which made for a fun experience for the both of us~

I was out taking pictures on Saturday and I just happened across this shot. The thing you cant see is his young daughter on his lap with her crash helmet. This was obviously something that had been done before and she was very excited. Looked like fun to me...

Well another Defcon is in the bag. All in all it was a great weekend. Mike did a great presentation on Digital Cinema and there were several other good talks over the three days. As always there were a few challenges, mainly with the conference badges, but it all ended up working out. There was one talk that got pulled due to restraining order being filed against the speaker. Apparently the companies system that was the focus of the talk was not happy about it.

Defcon has changed alot over the years. Our entire group recognized this change and cant quite place it. I think Mike might have nailed it when he said it was predictable and that nothing is a surprise anymore. Ever since the con moved from the Alexis Park to the Riviera it has not been the same. We are thinking that we might take next year off and hit a different con, maybe Dayton.

Anyway, we still had a good time and are back home to our real world now...

As Defcon 16 gets ready to roll into Vegas, so did a nice storm.

Mike and I hit the road today to start the trek to Las Vegas for the annual Defcon conference. We were fortunate enough to pull into our first nights hotel parking lot just in time for a nice show. We had been in Zions National Park earlier but got rained out. While that was a bust, the storm made for some great pictures at the hotel.

Tomorrow we continue to Vegas and start our normal routine for the weekend.

This weekend we are up in park City helping with the tour de park City bike ride and Brett has been working hard coordinating since 05:00 this morning! We are staying up here all weekend and then going to the arts festival on Sunday!
