One year ago today Ashley, Radar and Myself arrived in Salt Lake after our two day drive from Dallas. It is hard to believe that it has already been a year, but we have had a great time being back home.
On the 20th of this month I will celebrate my one year anniversary with Zions Management Services Company. It has been an adjustment, but I am enjoying my role and the people that I am working with.
Ashley is going strong in her job as well. When we relocated, she had to go back to school and get licensed to work in Utah. She really enjoys the people and environment that she is working in and has finally found what she truly loves doing.
The biggest pain with our transition has been getting into a house. We signed paperwork on three different houses and finally ended up closing on one in January of this year. We actually really lucked out and the year long wait was worth it. We feel very fortunate to have been able to get the deal we did on our house and are settling right in.
As if this weren't already enough we also drank the Dave Ramsey Kool-Aid. His thoughts and concepts are so simple but have totally changed our lives forever! All in all it has been a great 12 months and we are very much looking forward many more in the future. Thanks to all the family and friends in Salt Lake that have been VERY helpful in getting us back into the swing of things here. To all of our great Friends in Dallas; we miss you all and wish we could have brought you with us. Please keep in touch and thanks again for all the help and support.
