Ash and I went downtown tonight and saw the lights at Temple Square. It has been a LONG time sine we have done this and we really enjoyed it.

Radar is really excited for Christmas this year as it will be the first one he has ever spent with us. Normally we would be traveling this weekend and he would be at Per Paradise...

I was going through some emails and one of the mailing lists I am on had sent out this "Video of the week." I had forgotten how great a movie A Christmas Story actually was. I have known it was a good show, but this little clip reminded me that I really need to watch it...

Things on our end of the world are going great. We are nearly ready to move into our house (finally). We have been trying to deal with our builder and they just aren't very good at customer service. This weekend we went to look at a few other properties and found a few that look very promising. At any rate we will hopefully to be in a house in the next few weeks.

Work for me is going good. I had some vacation built up for moving, but since I am not going to need that this year, I have taken the rest of the year off. As for Ash... She transferred to the South Town location for Sanctuary Day Spa. There is no comparison between the two locations, she is so much busier at this location it isn't even funny. She is doing really well and really enjoys the clients.

Other then that things are pretty normal. Radar is looking forward to his first Christmas with us, and we are looking forward to spending it with him.

I have said it before (Big Morning in Frisco Texas - 11/4/2006) and today once again everything worked as planned.

I have several friends in the Salt Lake area that will page out large events that are going on around the valley. Well yesterday morning I was just scanning around and started to hear some traffic on one of the local Tactical Channels for the SLCo Sheriff. I could tell by the nature of their communications and the amount of people that they were requesting that this was going to be big. So I sent one of those pages out to the group.

No to long into the event SWAT was called out and after a few hours everything ended peacefully. The map above shows the general area where the action was. The Red Dot is where my parents house is.
