We got a great call today from Emily over at Richmond American... We got our Permits! Yea!!! It seems like we have been waiting forever... So we have a final meeting with them next week to make sure we are all on the same page before they start construction.
I got back from Defcon on Sunday. The con seemed really good this year and there were several good talks that I attended. Our talk went really good. We had a little over 700 people attend, which we really didn't think was all that bad. This year they had the speakers move to a Q&A room after the talks and we had about 20 people follow us there. We spent an additional hour talking with the people in Q&A. I also got to get caught up with some old friends at the conference. It is always good to see people and see what they have been up to. Our guys won the Bot contest again this year. The have said that they aren't going to play next year so we are all thinking we would enter another contest. Maybe the Mystery Box contest...
Other than that things are going well. Ash is getting going with her new job and I am still plugging along with mine. I am working the ULCER ride in Utah County this weekend which should be interesting. This is the first time we have been involved with this event so we will see how things go.
Anyway, have fun...
