Start & End

The first weekend that we were in Dallas, I took Ash to Fogo De Chao. So being our last weekend together in Dallas, we thought it would be a fitting place for dinner tonight.

Last weekend II (Body Worlds)
2007-01-28T16:14:53Z

Well today Ash and I had tickets to the Body Worlds exhibit. If you have not heard of it before, it is basically an exhibit using real human bodies. More information can be found at www.bodyworlds.com. I do have to say that it was one of the coolest things I have ever been to. It was amazing! The best was the body of a man that had been cut into section (layers) front to back. It was very interesting to see how all the muscles and organs truly interconnect and the damage from some diseases. If the exhibit comes to your town you MUST go...

They would not allow photographs in the exhibit so I had to to take a picture of the brochure.

The last weekend...

Since we are getting ready for the big move, Ash and I are hitting all our favorite places. Tonight we went to dinner a Zea followed by some magazine reading at the local Barns & Noble. On Sunday we are going to hit Eatzi's...

I got my fingerprints taken today. That is always a lot of fun!

Today is the day...

McAfee_Logo_2007.gifToday is officially the first day of my last days at McAfee. This morning I informed my team here that I am resigning and have accepted an offer with another company. This decision has been a long time coming, but is ultimately the best thing for my Wife and I. I will truly miss McAfee, especially the GSL team. The GSL has been one of the best projects I have ever worked on and I have really enjoyed the journey it has take me on. I wish McAfee and the GSL team continued success and best wishes...

Anti Posting Medication
2007-01-15T21:36:33Z

So it is not that I haven't wanted to post on the website, it is just that this medicine I have been on has really limited my ability to function...

So we had the big global sales kickoff (main stage seen above) and I had to get up way early to drive downtown (40 Minutes) and setup the booth each day. Once the booth was setup myself and my product manager (Justin) provided demos to all of the sales reps and answered questions. Needless to say there was a lot of standing and talking involved. So when I was feeling achy and my throat was hurting, I had no idea it was flu stuff. So Wednesday afternoon I went home early and ended up having a fever that night of 102. It was not until Saturday that I even poked my head out of the house to see what the rest of the world was doing.

Anyway, I am feeling much better now. The kickoff went really well and was a big change from our previous kickoffs, much more motivating! So this week I am back at work trying to straighten up a few loose ends after being gone all last week.

Why does Wendys on 3300 south by REI give you a new cup when you ask for a refil. It seems like such a waste!
