Also while we were at JCPenney we saw Rihanna (red arrow). She was preforming in the mall and cut through JCPenneys on her way out. There were a ton of screaming 14 year old girls (my favorite). Mall Security (blue arrow) hasn't seen this much action since the mall opened several years ago.

So its like 100 degrees outside and Penneys has winter coats on the floor next to swimsuits... Exactly what are they thinking?

Who needs to go to a comedy show when you have Jeff?

This was number six for today. We probably have one more in us and then we will call it quits for the day.

Well we are headed back to the Big D today. The trip was a lot of fun and we got to see some great areas. Thanks Steve and Joan for the great time and everything you did for the trip.

We went fly fishing today and it was great! We parked at N43 53.383 W113 56.874 and walked up stream for about 5 miles. I got my hands on about 6 fish and had probably a dozen more near misses.

Man its hot... I need a vacation...

Went out Geocaching today. This one was the first of the day and was a tough find! As you can see it was very well hidden. Found a total of six today along with two benchmarks (8 items total). I tried to find three additional cache's but was unable to locate them. I am going to go back and have Ash help me... I am looking forward to finding a few in Salt Lake and Sun Valley when we go...

This week I have been giving presentations to sales engineers on my lab. It is really cool to hear their feedback, both good and bad. It has really evolved over the last year, and it is great to be a part of it...

This was our second cache (GCP2GN). It was a great one. We actually got inside the can and there was all kinds of stuff. I picked up a Travel Bug that will go with us on vacation very soon. This cache was hidden in a pile of wood and was not easy to see due to the camo on the box.

As you can tell Ash and I went out playing today... My friend Perry had found his first cache while on vacation and so I decided to start searching. You can track my results at: www.geocaching.com



This one is called a benchmark so it doesn't really count as a Cache, but still fun to find... Bench marks are created by the USGS and are basically survey marks. This one was originally placed in 1934 and last indexed in 1994. USGS description below:

''DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 0.7 MI S FROM FRISCO. 0.7 MILES S OF AND ALONG THE ST. L. AND S.F. R.R. 56 YARDS N OF MILE POST 685. 20 FEET NE OF NE EDGE OF A SPILLWAY. 32 FEET E OF THE CENTER OF A ROAD AT CURVE. 54 FEET W OF THE CENTER OF THE TRACK. AT BRIDGE NO. 685.0."

This was my first find! It was a tough one and the area was full of thorn bushes and lots of trash. The can was under this big concrete rock, as seen above and I could not get it out to sign the log.

Our dog is nuts. On a regular basis, Ray lays out in the hot sun. Today, as you can see, is no exception...

So Ash and I didn't want to see a movie tonight, so we went to workout. As I type, I an on the StairMaster (52 floors and counting). Ash is the one in the picture...
