For my birthday we went to the Nasher Sculpture Center. This is a shot of my favorite piece titled "Walking to the Sky." It is a 2004 and was created by Jonathan Borofsky. This sculpture is a tribute to the power of our aspirations and the resilience of the human spirit.

We went over to the Ft. Worth arts festival today. Lots or stuff, none of it very interesting, so we just bought lemonade and went home...

We got some great tickets to the Rough Riders game tonight. We went with our friends Jeff and Tricia. Thanks Kara for the tickets...

I had the day off today, so I spent a few hours at the range. I think I an finally getting comfortable with my new XD. Now I just need to take it out to an IDPA match to see how it really does...

My breaks finally called it quits. So here I sit waiting for them to be replaced.

Ash and I worked in the yard today. I also installed a new flag pole. I know it might not seem that hard, but I have a bad history getting them installed. This one worked great!

Both Ash and I are working today. Ash started her new school and I am at the office working in the lab. Did somebody say weekend?
