Well today is it! The last day of my first full week back in the swing of things. Man has it been hard to get back into my typical routine after my long holiday break. At any rate, I am really glad that it's the weekend, I need a break. My company did layoffs this week and I am have lunch today with a few friends today that got cut.
Saturday I am going shooting with my friend Larry. He is going to take me out and show me the finer arts of his 12 Gauge. Should be fun, I have never shot one so it will also be a learning experience. Also this week, I got ask to speak at HamCom 2004. N5OOM, a buddy of mine, is putting on a few talks and ask if I would be willing to speak. As it stands I will be doing three sessions on Saturday, June 19th. It is still a bit out but that gives me plenty of time to prepare. I am also thinking about setting a personal goal of upgrading my ham license before then.
